About the Astana Train Station Model

An Astana Train Station Model brings the Nurly Zhol railway station in Kazakhstan’s capital onto a single table, turning a vast transport building into something you can read at a glance. The station was designed by Tabanlıoğlu Architects and opened on 1 June 2017 as part of Expo 2017. With 110,000 m² of enclosed space, a 70,000 m² car park and 2,550 metres of platforms, it is exactly the kind of project that benefits from a well-planned physical model.

MiniatureArt’s Astana Train Station Model reproduces the main station building, the platforms and the surrounding site at scale. When the proportions between the long platform lines and the main hall are kept accurate, viewers can follow passenger flow and understand how the station connects to the city around it.
