Mini Georgia: A Tribute to the Architectural Splendour of the Caucasus
Georgia in Miniature park (Mini Georgia) is a first-class private cultural investment on the Black Sea coast at Shekvetili. It is an open-air tribute to one of the world’s oldest and most diverse heritage landscapes.
Produced entirely by the MiniatureArt team, this comprehensive turnkey park reflects the spirit of Georgia, from rugged mountain defence towers and rock-cut monastery complexes to magnificent Orthodox cathedrals and classic cityscapes.
Curated Under Rigorous Museum Supervision
Georgia has more than a thousand years of intricate stonework and religious art. Therefore, historical accuracy required deep academic collaboration:
Curatorial Leadership. George Parkhaladze, Director of the Tbilisi Museum, personally curated every monument. As a result, each selected site has major cultural significance.
Academic Oversight: Our sculptors and model engineers worked under Mr Parkhaladze’s direct supervision. They cross-referenced archive plans, site surveys and authentic regional textures.
Fidelity to Ancient Stonework: Every miniature reflects the original stonework patterns. Examples include the defence towers of Svaneti, the rock-cut façades of Vardzia and the carvings of Svetitskhoveli and Bagrati cathedrals.
Huge Scale: 90 Monumental Miniatures
Unlike compact urban models, Georgian architecture is characterized by extensive fortress complexes, multi-storey monasteries and imposing stone castles.
Huge Model Dimensions: Georgian historic complexes such as Rabati Castle, Narikala Fortress and Gelati Monastery are very large. Therefore, their miniatures are large too and need reinforced internal skeletons.
Solid Polyurethane Billet Carving: In addition, we carved each building from dense, weather-resistant polyurethane billets. This protects them against coastal humidity and winter frosts.
90 Distinct Landmarks: Producing 90 detailed monumental structures on time showed our industrial capacity for major national projects.

In the Mini Georgia project, content and production went hand in hand for cultural heritage models. For a new collection, we first evaluate the list of buildings, drawings, photographs and historical sources. Then we set the scale and level of detail according to the exhibition area.
