Minicity Antalya: An Architectural Icon on the Mediterranean Coast
Minicity Antalya miniature park is a first-class cultural attraction in Antalya, Türkiye’s tourism capital. It combines avant-garde architecture with world-class miniature modelling.
MiniatureArt produced the entire collection of architectural models and worked closely on the spatial implementation of this iconic open-air attraction.
Architectural Collaboration with Emre Arolat and State Opening
Pioneering Architecture: Architect Emre Arolat co-designed Minicity’s master plan and pavilion concept. As a result, the scaled exhibits sit within a modern, award-winning architectural framework.
The project was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2005. The MiniCity Antalya tourism facility opened in July 2004.
Grand State Opening: Then Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and several ministers opened the park at a state ceremony. Since then, it has been a vital national tourism asset.
A 5,500 m² Mediterranean and Bosphorus
A Vast 5,500 m² Water Feature: The park grounds are shaped around a wide Mediterranean basin reflecting the region’s maritime geography.
Faithful Bosphorus Replication: A canal system replicates the contours of the Istanbul Bosphorus. Thus, waterfront palaces, fortresses and bridges sit in an authentic relationship with the water.
Minicity Antalya Miniature Park: More Than 90 Scale Models
MiniatureArt produced more than 90 monumental models spanning thousands of years of Anatolian, Ottoman and regional civilisation:
- Extreme Outdoor Durability: Our special polyurethane casting withstands Antalya’s strong sun, high UV and coastal humidity without warping or fading.
- Architectural Diversity: From Roman theatres and Seljuk caravanserais to Ottoman imperial mosques, every structure shows true scale fidelity and surface realism.

A Scaled Narrative from Ancient Structures to Coastal Landscape
The theatres, caravanserais, mosques and coastal structures in the Minicity collection bring different eras together in a single miniature park. When we prepare a building model, its surroundings also matter. For example, its relationship with water and the visitor viewing angle are as important as the original architecture.
For similar collections, see our miniature park construction and miniature park landscaping pages; for presenting ancient structures inside a museum, see archaeological models and reconstructions.
