Uzungöl Fairy Tale Park: A High-Traffic Themed Tourism Attraction

Designed and built between 2019 and 2020, the Uzungöl Theme Park and its Uzungöl fairy tale figures were delivered by MiniatureArt on a turnkey basis, covering every stage from master planning to architectural modelling and figurative production. Located in one of the most visited tourist destinations on the Black Sea, this 5,000 m² site features 160 skilfully produced characters from 25 different fairy tale universes. Realized as a private commercial venture, the park recovered its entire capital investment in just three years, proving how profitable first-class, story-driven family entertainment can be.

Commercial Efficiency: A 3-Year Payback Period in a Tourism Hub

  • Proven Return on Investment (ROI): Built to make the most of Uzungöl’s heavy domestic and international tourist traffic, this project is a true commercial success story. Thanks to its superior build quality and strong word-of-mouth appeal, the private operators recovered their entire capital investment within 36 months of opening.

  • High-Density Spatial Layout (5,000 m²): Despite its compact overall area, the park is designed to host an extensive figurative collection without feeling crowded. This layout guides heavy visitor flows smoothly between the scenic exhibits while maximizing photo opportunities and the time visitors spend on site.

Uzungöl Fairy Tale Figures: Custom Carving Instead of Polyester Moulds

  • 100% Original Works of Art: Every figure in the 160-piece collection is an original MiniatureArt design. We reject off-the-shelf or low-quality character moulds; every facial expression, meaningful gaze and dynamic posture was digitally modelled from scratch by our design studio.

  • Intricate Costume and Texture Detailing: The complex folds in fabric costumes, fine strands of hair and expressive hand gestures display a level of craftsmanship that ordinary commercial figures cannot match.

  • Atmospheric Scene Settings: The characters are placed within highly detailed story backdrops, faithful architectural façades and themed natural settings, creating a harmonious fairy tale world.

1 Year of Factory Engineering, 1 Week of On-Site Installation

  • A Year-Long Precision Production Process: Each piece went through meticulous prototyping, 7-axis robotic milling, hand carving and multi-layer UV-protective coating in our climate-controlled facility over approximately 12 months.
  • One-Week Turnkey Assembly: Because the entire park was pre-engineered with modular tolerances, on-site assembly was completed in just seven days. This minimized operational disruption on site and allowed the facility to open immediately during the busy tourist season.
  • Solid Internal Durability (Unlike Hollow Polyester): Carved from massive high-density polyurethane blocks, every sculpture is solid inside, eliminating the fragility, cracking and hollow echoing sound of cheap fiberglass shells.
  • Heavy-Duty 20 mm Steel Anchoring: To withstand mountain winds and constant visitor contact, each figure is internally anchored with solid structural steel bars 2 cm (20 mm) thick fixed into the concrete sub-foundations.

Themed visitor areas for tourist facilities

The Uzungöl project is an example of handling fairy tale characters, sets and the circulation plan together in a tourist region. When creating a new facility or expanding an existing visitor area, theme selection, photo spots, the production schedule and the time allocated for on-site assembly are evaluated at the outset.
