Osmangazi Fairy Tale Garden: An Engineering Feat on Challenging Terrain
Designed and built entirely by MiniatureArt between 2022 and 2023, the Osmangazi Fairy Tale Garden is a 5,000 m² turnkey themed attraction located in Bursa, within the famous “Macera Bursa” (Adventure Park). Set on a very high and steep topographic site, this project demonstrates our ability to transform challenging terrain into enchanting public spaces that attract large numbers of visitors. Operating as a free-entry municipal park, our themed additions have significantly increased the regional popularity and recognition of the entire Macera Bursa complex.
Animatronic Entrances and Interactive Entertainment
Talking Tree Arch: Visitors do not simply walk through an ordinary gate; they step into this magical world through a magnificent custom-built fairy tale arch featuring our signature animatronic “Talking Tree”. This mechanical marvel actively speaks to greet guests at the entrance, instantly creating an immersive atmosphere.
Open-Air Frog Theatre: Complementing the entrance, the interactive animatronic Frog Theatre is strategically placed in the open air. It actively attracts and entertains families as they stroll through the beautiful landscape of the hill.
19 Immersive Concepts with Scenic Backdrops
Scenic Context and Depth: The 5,000 m² site is densely furnished with highly detailed figures representing 19 different classic fairy tales and beloved cartoon concepts. As in our Çorlu project, these characters are not placed on their own; they are framed by custom-built, highly detailed backdrops that visually transport visitors directly into the characters’ original fairy tale settings.
Harmonious Landscaping: The structural backdrops and sculptures are interwoven with a beautiful terraced landscape specially designed to soften the steep slope and create picture-perfect, multi-layered viewpoints.
Solid-Core Material Engineering and Robotic Milling
Solid Internal Durability (Unlike Hollow Polyester): Every figure is carved directly from massive, high-density polyurethane blocks. Unlike traditional fiberglass or polyester shells, which are thin and fragile, our sculptures are completely solid inside. This provides exceptional impact resistance, making them extremely robust against vandalism and guaranteeing flawless service for many years in open public spaces.
7-Axis Robotic Carving and Hand Detailing: Each character was drawn to the millimetre in a 3D CAD environment, rough-milled with precision over several days by industrial 7-axis robotic arms, and then flawlessly refined by our master sculptors to achieve a perfect finish.
Artistic Painting and Weather Resistance: Our studio painters brought the polyurethane sculptures to life with vivid colours and sealed them with industrial UV-resistant coatings so that they can withstand Bursa’s changeable weather conditions.

The Osmangazi Fairy Tale Garden is an example of a project in which sculpture placement and terraced landscaping were handled together.
