Kabataş High School (Feriye Palaces) Miniature Model
Situated along the Bosphorus in Ortaköy, Istanbul, the historic buildings of Kabataş Erkek Lisesi were originally built in the 19th century as the Feriye Palaces for the Ottoman royal family. The Neoclassical waterfront facades hold immense educational and historical significance in Turkey. Our architectural scale model recreates the elegant masonry, long corridors, and seaside splendor of this institution. Perfect for institutional dioramas and outdoor miniature museums, this 3D model blends architectural precision with cultural nostalgia. Below you can view photos of the Kabataş High School model.
Kabataş High School was opened in 1908 at Esma Sultan Mansions in Kabataş district in place of the Aşiret Mektebi, which had previously been closed. The big building on Besiktas side previously served as Secondary School and then was used as the dormitory and dining hall of Kabataş High School. The big building on Ortaköy side has been used as Kabataş High School since 1928.
The Kabataş High School model was produced in MiniatureArt’s 4,500 m² workshop in Istanbul. Our model-making process starts with detailed documentation of the building’s architectural drawings, photographs and proportions; the model is then designed in one of the standard scales such as 1:10, 1:15 or 1:25, depending on the project.
The main form of the building is carved from solid polyurethane blocks using CNC machines and 7-axis robots. Fine details such as façades, windows, roofs and ornaments are finished and painted by hand by our team of architects, sculptors and painters. As a result, each model lets visitors experience the real building on a small scale, with faithful proportions and surface textures.
Our models displayed outdoors in miniature parks are designed to withstand harsh conditions such as sun, rain and frost. For a similar historical building model, museum model or miniature park project, contact us.
