ITU Macka Campus
The building of the Faculty of Business Administration located at the Istanbul Technical University Macka Campus, is one of the annexes of Macka Artillery. The construction of the gun house as a management building was completed between 1861 and 1862 by Simon and Sarkis Balyan. In 1956, it was assigned to the Ministry of Education. After serving as Technical School for a while, it was left to the use of Istanbul Technical University. Below you can view photos of the ITU Macka Campus model.
ITU Taskisla Campus
ITU TaIt was built by the British architect Williams James Smith and his deputy assistant Istefan as a hospital of military medical school in 1846 and 1852. A grand renovation took place between 1943 and 1950. After the renovation in 1950, the Rectorate of ITU and the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering were placed here. In 1983, it was taken under protection as a first degree historical monument.
The ITU Macka Campus model was produced in MiniatureArt’s 4,500 m² workshop in Istanbul. Our model-making process starts with detailed documentation of the building’s architectural drawings, photographs and proportions; the model is then designed in one of the standard scales such as 1:10, 1:15 or 1:25, depending on the project.
The main form of the building is carved from solid polyurethane blocks using CNC machines and 7-axis robots. Fine details such as façades, windows, roofs and ornaments are finished and painted by hand by our team of architects, sculptors and painters. As a result, each model lets visitors experience the real building on a small scale, with faithful proportions and surface textures.
Our models displayed outdoors in miniature parks are designed to withstand harsh conditions such as sun, rain and frost. For a similar historical building model, museum model or miniature park project, contact us.
